Hey there, my name is Azi!

(pron: “Ozzy”)

I’m a strategic advisor focused on how organizations actually function beneath the surface—how decisions are made, how communication flows, and how culture is experienced day to day.

Across my work, I’ve been drawn to the same question:

Why do organizations that are full of thoughtful, capable people still struggle to operate clearly and sustainably?

My background spans strategy and operations in startup environments, federal program management within nonprofits, and a five-year research initiative supported by the National Science Foundation examining the attrition of women and people of color in STEM.

I’ve also worked closely with arts and cultural organizations, where questions of equity, collaboration, and sustainability often show up in especially complex ways.

Over time, I began to notice a pattern.

When things weren’t working inside organizations, it was rarely about individual performance.

It was about systems.

Unclear roles. Inconsistent communication. Misalignment between values and lived experience.

And most often—those issues were felt across teams but difficult to name or address directly.

My work now focuses on helping organizations surface those patterns, understand what’s driving them, and identify where change will have the most meaningful impact.

I take a systems-oriented, human-centered approach—combining qualitative insight, organizational strategy, and deep listening to make what’s often invisible more visible and actionable.
